- A 7.4 magnitude earthquake shook the Central American country of Guatemala Wednesday morning.
- The quake was centered about 15 miles off the coast of Guatemala, has killed about 45 people, according to President Otto Perez Molina. Most of the damage occurred in the northwestern state of San Marcos.

Citizens are encouraged not to travel and avoid tall buildings.
