tells TV ONE's Breakfast that President Obama does not have any easy
road ahead of him.
"Mr Obama has some massive tasks facing him. One of which is the
economy, which all exit polls suggest remains the number one issue for
most Americans," said Patman.
"Because he has a fresh mandate I think the Republicans who prevented
him passing a budget in 2011, which led to this arrangement called the
Fiscal Cliff, they are going to have to reconsider if are they going to
continue to be obstructive, or are they going to take the view the
President only has a narrow mandate, and they are entitled to go on? I
don't think so," he said.
